Traditional winemakers house with high beams
Dating from 1742 and restored during 2018, Philibert and the sister property, Jacquette, are both two bedroom winemakers houses on the edge of Pommard. Built around a secluded, sunny courtyard with fountain and parking for at least 3 cars, electric gates secure both properties.
A cozy, yet light and airy living area with a cathedral ceiling and traditional Burgundian fireplace incorporates a dining area and integrated kitchen. A long hall leads to two bedrooms, one with ensuite and a guest bathroom.
Features of Philibert include
A deceptively spacious open plan living area with exposed beams and working fireplace. A dining table for 4 people divides the living area from a fully equipped kitchen containing an induction hob, oven, Nespresso coffee machine and larder fridge. Intercom connecting to Jacquette and to open the gate remotely.
A comfortable double bedroom with kingsize bed and wardrobes. The ensuite contains a shower, WC and sink. A hairdryer is provided.
A twin bedroom with Victorian wrought iron bedframes which overlooks the courtyard.
A separate bathroom comprising shower, WC and sink unit.
A small seating area at the top of the stairs leading to the front door.
Communal utility room at ground floor level with fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, clothes airer, sink unit, iron and ironing board.
A welcome pack is provided on arrival and bed linen, towels and WiFi are included in the price. For stays of longer than 9 nights, a complimentary mid-stay clean and linen change is also offered.
