Pommard is easily reached by road or rail.

The A6 autoroute linking Paris to Lyon can be accessed at Beaune. Junction 24.1 is 4kms from Pommard, connecting north to Paris and Calais, south to Lyon and the Mediterranean coast and with direct access east to Switzerland and Germany. 

The TGV runs from Beaune to Paris centre or Charles de Gaulle Airport and on to Lille twice a day (approx. journey time 2hr) connecting to London via Eurostar. There are also train connections from Beaune to most other European cities via the local service to Dijon.
