Set around its own south facing courtyard, this charming Burgundy home has been lovingly restored to create a beautifully light and spacious grand villa. Exposed stone walls, original oak beams and fireplace, as well as a gourmet cook’s kitchen which opens onto a sun-drenched terrace, balcony and courtyard, all combine to make this a very special holiday home at the heart of Burgundy’s most famous vineyards and a perfect spot to enjoy all the riches that the Cote d’Or has to offer.
Le Chevalier is quietly positioned backing onto the vineyards of the Chateau on the edge of this tranquil village, Puligny Montrachet. It is just a few metres stroll to the Place Monument where you will find all the pleasures of the ‘real France’ – a baguette from the village boulangerie, a glass of wine at the café/bar – or a delicious meal at a fine restaurant.
Meander through the village and along the narrow lanes leading into the world famous Grand Cru vineyards – a destination for wine lovers the world over.

Ground floor
Grand gates opening into the private courtyard. The garden suite is a spacious king size, double bedroom with en-suite walk-in shower room. French doors open from the garden suite onto the walled courtyard with climbing roses and seating area for 6. The large utility room is accessed from the courtyard where you will find the washing machine, separate dryer and a large, dry storage area for keeping your hired bicycles.
First floor
Up the original stone steps you enter into a hallway and snug leading through to the large and airy living space with a cosy wood burning stove, TV with UK and French free-to-view channels, DVD player, CD, free WiFi and telephone. The living room leads through to the open-plan gourmet kitchen and dining room with comfortable seating for 6. The range oven has gas hobs and electric oven. A full height larder fridge and dishwasher complete the electrical appliances. The kitchen opens onto the south facing terrace with seating area which enjoys views into the Chateau gardens.
The library room is a large twin bed room opening onto a sunny balcony that overlooks the courtyard and surrounding gardens. It has its own private shower room.
Second floor
The Master suite is enormous. A super-king double bedroom with Juliette balcony enjoys views onto the chateau gardens. The dressing room and bathroom has a separate wc, free standing bath tub, double sinks and generous walk-in shower that enjoys a tree-top view onto the chateau and vineyards.

We provide a Welcome Pack of basics which typically includes:
milk, sugar, tea, coffee, orange juice, bottled water, jam, cereal, biscuits, crisps, salt & pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.
The apartment is also stocked with the essentials: ie hand soap, toilet rolls, kitchen paper, foil, cling film, bin bags, matches, paper napkins and tea lights. Also included are all bed linen and towels, cleaning products, central heating, free WiFi.
Cot and high chair available on request.
For stays of two weeks or more, we include a mid-stay clean and linen change.
